Lobster Fest At Red Lobster = My new love of life.
I had never had lobster before, until last night. You see, my boyfriend decided that we should have a celebration date, so we did. He was a sweetheart and took me to red lobster for the first time EVER! I like fish, but usually I wouldn't choose a fish restaraunt, nevertheless, I am trying to be more open to trying new things, and oh boy am I glad I did.
I got this entree with Lobster and fire-grilled marinated shrimp. K, so when the lobster hit the table, I was like, oh my I am now going to eat a creature of the sea! I had a little freak out inside my head. Per Jeff's suggestion, I dipped the lobster in melted butter and ate it. I thought I had died and gone to heaven, like really i did! It was so delicate and tasty, then Jeff let me try some of his crab! Amazing as well! If I were to ever need to decide between the two my choice would be lobster! Thanks JEff for such a fun night!

Today I went to a college dance concert. Ever since taking introduction to Jazz Dance, I have gained a much greater amount of respect for the world of dancing. Mostly through the whole show I just felt tired. Tired for the dancers, because they were exerting so much effort in the dances.
Mostly I was breaking a social norm by going to this concert all by myself. I considered bringing my boyfriend along, he said he would gladly come, but I didn't want to make him sit through a 2 hour dance concert, that I wasn't even too enthused to be at! I sat in between 2 couples. It was pretty awkward at the beginning. They both turned their bodies away from me and just ignored me.
The guy next to me was wearing this fake leather jacket. I don't have anything in particular against leather jackets for men, but this one was blantantly fake and plasticy. so every time this guy would even move a centimeter, there would be this terrible screachy, nails on a chalk board sound. And it was loud, like everyone in the theater could hear it loud.
The concert was good. Some of my friends were in it, and when you know people in a concert, it's just better. Hasta Luego for now,
Em
